- Biography:
Alan Sullivan KC is one of Australia’s leading barristers.
He joined the bar in 1978 and has specialised in Appellate, Commercial Law, Equity, Insurance, Medical & Professional Negligence, Sports Law, Intellectual Property and Public Law.
Mr Sullivan has a passion for sports integrity and is currently a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He has a long association with rugby league having served as the Chairman of the New South Wales and Australian Rugby League Judiciary and represented the Commission in legal matters over a long period of time.
Mr Sullivan is currently Senior Commissioner, Cricket Australia Code of Conduct and President of the Football Federation of Australia Appeals Committee.
In 2017, Mr Sullivan was awarded the Contribution to Sport and Sports Law Award by the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association for substantial lifetime achievement to the development, integrity and professionalism of sport and the sports law industry.
