About Us
Community Overview
The NRL's community programs use the power of Rugby League to lead and inspire people to be the best they can be, whether they are young, male or female or from Indigenous or multicultural backgrounds.
Since the formation of Rugby League in 1908, Rugby League has been absorbed into the cultural fabric of Australian Society. Each year, the NRL delivers extensive programs designed to create positive social change across three key focus areas; Health & Wellbeing; respect and Inclusion & Diversity.
Driving these areas of focus include our marquee programs, In League In Harmony, State of Mind, Voice Against Violence, School to Work and League Stars Inspire. Not only do these programs aim to inspire our community, but also continue to address important social issues including mental health, domestic & family violence, education and health & wellbeing.
The NRL has strategically partnered with leading experts in order to deliver best-in-class programs that leave a tangible impact across communities. Such partners include headspace, the Black Dog Institute, White Ribbon, Recognise and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Through our community programs, Rugby League harnesses the Game's popularity to make a difference in people's lives across Australia and New Zealand.
The NRL is committed to showcase the impact the game is making across Australia and the Pacific. pan66.community continue to outline the work we do and measure the impact we have throughout our communities through our Social Impact reports.
