NRL Indigenous Players Map

This year, the NRL Indigenous Round will focus on creating a space for learning and educating Australians on who the traditional custodians of the land on which they reside are.

This map represents the known tribes where our male and female Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players are from.

How to use the map

Move your cursor over any area of the image to reveal the ‘magnifying glass’ circle. Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in or out within the magnifying circle. On touch screens, tap once on the screen to show the magnifying circle. Then, keep your finger on the screen and move the circle around to show the zoomed in image.

Acknowledgement of Country

National Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
