The injury news, rumours and late team changes heading into the opening round of the 2017 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series.
Roosters: In-form but injured winger Daniel Tupou is still on the reserves list and could make his return from a groin injury. Joseph Manu would be the player to drop out of the 17 should Tupou take the field on Friday night.
Broncos: No late changes expected as the Broncos go into their qualifying final with Kodi Nikorima at fullback and Benji Marshall at halfback.
Storm: No changes expected for the Storm, with Dale Finucane returning at lock and Tim Glasby joining the bench.
Eels: Brad Arthur is expected to stick with the same side as last week, but hooker Kaysa Pritchard is among the reserves and could come into the 17 on game day. Injured fullback Bevan French is at least another week away with a hamstring injury.
Sea Eagles: Coach Trent Barrett is expected to stick with the same 17 that dominated the Panthers in their Round 26 clash last week. Darcy Lussick was cleared to play at the judiciary on Tuesday night.
Panthers updated: Centre Waqa Blake has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. Fullback Dylan Edwards, currently named on the reserves list, will be given every chance to play in this elimination final. Edwards was still in a leg brace this week as he recovers from a knee injury but the Panthers could roll the dice with their season on the line.
Sharks: No late changes expected, with Wade Graham and Jack Bird both named to return. Apart from forward Sam Tagataese (calf injury), the Sharks will go in full strength.
Cowboys: No changes expected for North Queensland who have limped into the Telstra Premiership Finals with seven squad members in the casualty ward, including Johnathan Thurston, Matt Scott, Justin O'Neill and Kalyn Ponga.
