7.58pm AEDT: A spectacular finish in the Sunshine Coast with Asipeli Fine scoring the match-winner in the final minute out wide, giving the Bulldogs a 16-12 win over Canberra.

7.55pm AEDT: Sosaia Feki scores for Cronulla thanks to an offload from Aaron Gray, with new signing Matt Moylan kicking goals, while at his old club Tyrone Peachey has scored after being put through a gap by Nathan Cleary. Penrith lead the Roosters 20-10.

7.50pm AEDT: Tries everywhere at the moment with Makahesi Makatoa stretching out to equalise for Canberra, 12-all.

7.46pm AEDT: Paul Momirovski scores out wide for the Roosters to level the scores at 10-all, while promising Sharks winger Sione Katoa has scored against Manly after a quality cutout pass from Chad Townsend.

7.45pm AEDT: James Maloney's first appearance for Penrith may have been shortlived, with the five-eighth going to the bench after a 23-minute stint against former club the Roosters.

7.42pm AEDT: Parker is in again for the Sea Eagles, latching on to a Blake Kelly offload to double Manly's lead over the Sharks, 8-0.

7.39pm AEDT: Brad Parker scores for Manly from a Cade Cust bomb, Sea Eagles lead Cronulla 4-0.

7.37pm AEDT: The Panthers have skipped out to a 10-6 lead over the Roosters with Wayde Egan and Maika Sivo crossing for tries.

7.35pm AEDT: The Dragons have wrapped up a four-point win over Hull FC.

7.32pm AEDT: The Sharks and Sea Eagles have got their game underway in Cronulla and there's an injury inside the opening two minutes with Darcy Lussick going down with an ankle prob.

7.26pm AEDT: Kurt Mann has scored for the Dragons, edging them ahead 22-18 inside the final five minutes.

7.20pm AEDT: The Roosters have opened the scoring against Penrith in their game, with Joseph Manu fending off Tyrone Peachey, while Sia Soliola has crossed for Canberra after a shift to the right. Roosters lead 4-0 against the Panthers, Raiders trail 12-6 against Canterbury.

7.15pm AEDT: Penrith have begun their match against the Roosters at Panthers Stadium. Plenty happening tonight.

7.03pm AEDT: The Bulldogs finish a solid first half with a 12-0 lead over the Raiders on the Sunshine Coast, while prop Liam Watts has crossed for Hull FC to level the scores.

6.59pm AEDT: Tries in both games, with Greg Eastwood crashing over for the Bulldogs' second while Macdonald has once again been given good news from the video referee after managing to stay in the field of play to down down in the corner. 12-0 Bulldogs over Raiders, and 18-12 Dragons over Hull FC.

6.53pm AEDT: Nene Macdonald dives over in the left corner and gets the green light by the video referee to put the Dragons ahead 14-12 against Hull FC. Gareth Widdop's attempted conversion hits the post.

6.45pm AEDT: The second half is underway in Dragons v Hull FC, while there have been two sin-binnings in the other game with Bulldogs forward Adam Elliott and Raiders prop Junior Paulo given 10 minutes on the sidelines for throwing punches. It's 6-0 Canterbury with 15 minutes remaining in the first half.

6.38pm AEDT: The Bulldogs go searching for their second but the Raiders defence rushes to the rescue and carries the ball-carrier over the sideline, five metres from the tryline.

6.29pm AEDT: It's half-time at ANZ Stadium, with Hull FC leading the Dragons 12-10.

6.27pm AEDT: The Bulldogs have opened the scoring against Canberra, Michael Lichaa getting the year off to a good start by darting over from dummy-half. The conversion is successful and Canterbury leads 6-0.

6.24pm AEDT: Ben Hunt almost has his first try assist as a Dragon, but the video referee has disallowed it after Jeremy Latimore brought down a Hunt kick after Jason Nightingale was ruled to have touched it on the way down.

6.21pm AEDT: The Broncos and Raiders have kicked their match off on the Sunshine Coast, with Canberra on the attack early. (Watch it live here)

6.20pm AEDT: Albert Kelly slices through to score his second try for Hull FC, who will hit the front 12-10.

6.13pm AEDT: St George Illawarra score again, Jason Nightingale showing some nice footwork on the right flank to get between two defenders and touch down. 10-6 Dragons.

6.00pm AEDT: The Dragons have hit back through centre Tim Lafai, going over untouched after taking a Tariq Sims offloa. Gareth Widdop converts to make it 6-all.

5.56pm AEDT: The visitors have capitalised this time, with Albert Kelly chasing down a Jake Connor kick from the right wing to score behind the posts. That'll be 6-0.

5.53pm AEDT: Hull go even closer this time, Sika Manu spilling the ball over the tryline.

5.50pm AEDT: Hull FC with the first big chance, fullback Jamie Shaul weaving his way through the Dragons defence but his pass to the wing goes over the sideline.

5.45pm AEDT: We're underway in the second game of the day as the Dragons kick off. Ben Hunt and James Graham are officially wearing the Red V.

4.00pm AEDT: "In terms of expectations this early, I was pleased. For the most part it was good and there are some real positive signs," Warriors coach Stephen Kearney says about his team's win.

"I think we started a bit sheepish, a bit slow there as a group but overall I'm pretty happy with what I saw."

3.20pm AEDT: The Cowboys have submitted their final line-up for tonight's clash with the Tigers, with both Johnathan Thurston and Matt Scott to start in their return from injury.

2.48pm AEDT: That's full-time. It was closer than the Warriors would have liked but they take a 20-14 win in Rotorua against Melbourne's youngsters.

2.44pm AEDT: Melbourne hit back with a long-range effort from inside their own 20-metre zone, with left winger Ryan Papenhuyzen showing plenty of speed to burst clear and narrow the deficit. 20-14.

2.38pm AEDT: The Warriors spread it right and they extend their lead with another try to winger Lewis Soosemea, 20-10.

2.25pm AEDT: Melbourne are in this time, with hooker Harry Grant diving over between the uprights. He's been impressive today. The conversion from Scott Drinkwater from right in front trims the Warriors' lead to 16-10 with 20 minutes left.

2.15pm AEDT: The Storm almost score down the left and receive a penalty 10 metres out, but they blow their chance with another penalty for a poor play-the-ball.

2.09pm AEDTTry Warriors - Ligi Sao pounces on a grubber from Mason Lino and scores behind the posts. That makes it 16-4 to the hosts, five minutes into the second half.

2.05pm AEDT: The second half is underway now in front of a good crowd at Rotorua. Mason Lino kicks off for the Warriors - and it goes dead in-goal, forcing a dropout from the Storm.

1.50pm AEDT: The home side go into half-time with a six-point advantage. Warriors lead Melbourne 10-4.

1.38pm AEDT: The Warriors are in again, with Blake Ayshford sending David Fusitu'a over in the right corner. 10-4 Warriors with a sideline conversion from Mason Lino.

1.25pm AEDT: There have been a couple of penalties already for incorrect play-the-balls (a key focus of referees this pre-season), and the Warriors now score off the back of one with Solomone Kata grabbing first points for the hosts. It's 4-all after 20 minutes.

1.15pm AEDT: New Warriors recruit Agnatius Paasi lasts just five minutes. He's off with what appears to be a lower leg injury.

1.11pm AEDT: The Melbourne Storm are in first today after just three minutes with Matt Sopa-Lawler scoring off the back of a seven-tackle set after the visitors spread it to the right. 4-0 Storm.
