Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold has lauded the defensive effort from his team, labelling the comprehensive 30-10 win over the Warriors "very pleasing".
South Sydney conceded an early four pointer when prop Agnatius Paasi barged over, but quickly composed themselves to record a five-tries-to-two victory in Auckland.
Once again the Burgess twins, George and Tom, were outstanding, and hooker Damien Cook also caught the eye two days before Brad Fittler names his NSW Blues Origin squad ahead of game one on June 6 in Melbourne.
"I was pleased with our defence in particular,'' Seibold said post-game.
"We took our opportunities early on their (Warriors) try-line and kept turning up for each other when defending our line.
"Defence is about attitude, and ours was good tonight."

The Rabbitohs jumped the Warriors to go into the top three on the Telstra Premiership ladder with the victory, their eighth across the first 12 rounds.
Their performance was all the more impressive given they were hammered early in the penalty count.
Not that Seibold was concerned.
"I wasn't too worried about the early penalties, we actually scored 10 points when Tom (Burgess) was off the field (in the sin bin),'' he said.
"Our effort at training is translating to game day – we continue to learn as a group.
"Staying humble and working hard, that is our focus."
The Rabbitohs next take on the Sharks next Friday night at ANZ Stadium.
