Broncos winger Jamayne Isaako.

Brisbane have re-signed rising star outside back Jamayne Isaako to a four-year deal as the club’s retention campaign goes into overdrive.

A day after confirming 18-year-old prop Payne Haas had been wrapped up until the end of 2024 the Broncos have retained goal-kicking sensation Isaako.

The 22-year-old has played every game in 2018 and has been a key reason why the Broncos have won several close games against the Wests Tigers and Sydney Roosters where his goal kicking and dazzling running game proved crucial.

Isaako is one point shy of 150 for the Telstra Premiership season, from eight tries, 58 goals and a field goal.

He made his NRL debut last year for Brisbane at fullback after starring with Souths-Logan in the Intrust Super Cup.

Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett elevated Isaako to the starting lineup in round one this year on the wing and he has not missed a match since on his way to being the most consistent player in the Brisbane backline.

Jamayne Isaako: My Story

His NRL performances won Isaako a Test debut for New Zealand against England in Denver and he has been earmarked by Kiwi selectors as a 10-year player for the national side.

Bennett regards Isaako as a long-term fullback at the Broncos, a position he will play against the Penrith Panthers on Friday night with Darius Boyd switching to the centres.

Isaako, who said recently he wanted to be a Bronco for life, wants to be a part of the young generation that promises to bring a seventh premiership to the Broncos.

"I've just signed on for another four years with the Broncs," Isaako told the .

"Obviously we've got a lot of great young talent coming up at the club and I am looking forward to being a part of that.

"I came here in 2015 and hoped that I could make it.

"I came to a club where there were a lot of superstars and big names in the team.

"I am just grateful to be able to solidify a long term contract here."
