Brett Morris signs with Roosters

The Sydney Roosters have today announced the signing of Brett Morris to a two-year deal commencing in 2019.

"Brett is one of the most experienced finishers in the game with plenty of good football still in him, and we are pleased to have secured his services," said Roosters recruitment manager, Adam Hartigan.

"Not only will Brett add experience and depth to our squad, he will also be a terrific mentor to some of the younger backs here at the Club," he added.

Morris will join the Roosters from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, and has played 231 NRL games to date since making his debut with the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2006.

Morris played 18 Tests for Australia and 15 games for New South Wales prior to announcing his retirement from representative football in 2017.
