NRL Social - Dally M's and fan fun!

It's here - grand final week is upon us and that means red carpets, fervent fans and the biggest game of the year.

Wednesday night's Dally M awards not only showcased history, but also the camaraderie from some of the best in the business.

It was great to see Canberra Raiders' captain Jarrod Croker up and about after his recent knee injury. Croker attended with wife Britt.

The Cronulla Sharks were also well represented, with Valentine Holmes, Jesse Ramien, Paul Gallen, Aaron Woods and Andrew Fifita looking dapper on the red carpet.

The Rabbitohs missed out on a spot in the NRL Grand Final, but you'd never have known it judging by the smiles on their faces.

Head Coach Anthony Seibold was awarded Dally M Coach of the Year, and Damien Cook capped off a stellar season by taking home the trophy for Hooker of the Year.

However the night belonged to New Zealand Warriors captain, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck who took home the grand prize - the Dally M Medal as the NRL's best player for 2018.

Overrun with emotion, RTS watched on as his Kiwi teammates Jazz Tevaga, Issac Luke and Jordan Rapana broke into an impromptu haka.

Luke later tweeted: "Respect to you my brother. Love you bro."

Grand Final week is also a time for everyone to come together and bond over what we all love most – rugby league!

Prior to the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm assembling on the main stage to greet fans, players from all clubs spent the afternoon signing autographs, posing for photos and playing games with all who attended.
