NRL Social: End of year fun and games

In another whirlwind week of rugby league, you could be forgiven for missing out on what your favourite players have been up to. We've scrolled through the social media world so you don't have to.
Men at work
This week the Gold Coast Titans swapped footy boots for work boots as the NRL squad headed into the workforce, an idea implemented by coach Garth Brennan. New recruit Tyrone Peachey was happy to be "back on the tools".
Don't step me
After the news broke that Shaun Johnson would be leaving the Warriors, the club's captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck jumped on Instagram to wish his now former teammate the best.
"Crazy week! All the best with what's next bro. Been a pleasure. Don't step me", the 2018 Dally M medallist wrote.
"Damn it's gonna be weird playing the boys. Thanks bro, pleasure has been all mine skip", Johnson replied not long after.
Around the grounds
Young Sharks halfback Kyle Flanagan and club great Paul Gallen enjoyed a lighter moment during training.
Christmas with the Marshalls
Benji Marshall got into the festive spirit this week. The Tigers halfback dressed up wife Zoe and posed for their Christmas family photo with baby Fox.
"First of many Santa photos with my baby boy Fox today," he wrote.
Family first
Star duo Tom and Jake Trbojevic posed with little bro Luke while enjoying some family downtime.
Also, Gerard Beale wished his son Nixon a happy sixth birthday as they enjoyed the Auckland sunshine.
And Blake Ferguson posed with his two beautiful boys Harlo and London.
V8 Mates
While Mitchell Pearce didn't get onto the track like Kalyn Ponga, he did take in the Newcastle 500 over the weekend, posing for a photo with Chaz Mostert.

All across the NRL players have been adjusting to warmer temperatures.
Ladies night
Jillaroos, Queensland and Broncos halfback Ali Brigginshaw was recognised for her achievements at the annual Queensland Sport Awards. While she didn't win the top honour, she enjoyed a great night with partner, Kate.
Straight to the pool room
New Roosters recruit Angus Crichton has been busy framing some keepsakes. After a fairytale debut for the NSW Blues which saw the versatile back-rower enjoy a series win, he framed his jerseys for his family.
