Elijah Taylor said Wests Tigers star Benji Marshall may learn the hard way that no spot in a Michael Maguire-coached side is guaranteed when he returns from a hamstring injury.
Marshall will have to regain his spot from an in-form Josh Reynolds for the Easter Monday clash with the Eels that will double as the opening of Bankwest Stadium.
Reynolds didn't feature in the opening three rounds of the competition before he got the call up in round four following Marshall's injury.
The former Bulldog suffered a golden-point loss to the Panthers in round four before helping his club to a win over Brisbane on Thursday night.
"Reynolds has come into the side and brought another level of energy and enthusiasm, and that combination with him and [Luke] Brooksy has been working really well," Taylor said on Saturday.
Match Highlights: Broncos v Wests Tigers
"Madge will have a bit of a headache deciding who to put in with Benji being right for the Parramatta game.
"I guess it’s a good problem to have though - it shows our depth in key positions.
"But in saying that neither of those players should be playing in reserve grade because they offer too much to a team."
Wests Tigers fullback Moses Mbye said the side didn't have to look too far to find the motivation required to beat the Broncos.
"The way we lost against Penrith was quite deflating but I think it gave everyone that little bit more motivation, little fire in the belly, to bounce back," Mbye said.
"It was a bit of a scrappy win but we showed a real will to win and showed some real resilience."
The Wests Tigers have a 10-day turnaround before they run out against the Eels. Mbye said that is ample time to prepare well.
"We have no excuses going into round six, we have plenty of time to recover and prepare well," he said.
"[Blake] Ferguson coming into their side has added a massive impact, he's really filled the role of Semi Radradra which was what they were missing and Mitchell Moses is in fine form.
"It's going to be a good atmosphere with a full house at Bankwest Stadium - we're all really looking forward to being one of the first teams to run out there on Easter Monday."
Chee-Kam wins it for the Wests Tigers
On a weekend off before they prepare the face the Eels, Taylor and Moses took the chance to spread the word about rugby league at Sydney's Royal Easter Show.
Eels Will Smith and David Gower, Dragons Joe Lovodua and Jason Saab and Bulldogs Renouf, Tui Katoa and Brandon Wakeham will also visit the iconic event.
"It's a great initiative by the NRL, getting us players out here to promote the game and chat with some of the game's fans,” Mbye said.
