The stats snapshot for the NSW Blues heading into the opening game of the 2019 Holden State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium.

2 – Years in a row NSW have won the series opener. They saluted 28-4 at Suncorp in 2017 and 22-12 at the MCG last year.

5 – Number of NSW players making their Origin debut in Game I – Cody Walker, Jack Wighton, Cameron Murray, Payne Haas and Nick Cotric.

10 – Number of NRL games Payne Haas has played, making him the least experienced player to ever pull on a Blues jersey.

11 – Tries score by red hot Rabbitoh Cody Walker this season – the most in the NRL.

114 – Origin games played since its inception in 1980. The Blues have won 51, Queensland 61 and there have been two draws. Since three-game series began in 1983, the Maroons have won 20 series to NSW's 14.

119 – Points collected by Latrell Mitchell this season – the most in the NRL. Mitchell's haul is made up of eight tries, 43 goals and his stunning match-winning field goal against the Storm on Good Friday.

589 – David Klemmer is ranked No.1 across NSW and Queensland for post-contact metres from 2014-2018.
