Retired South Sydney great Greg Inglis made a welcome return to on Wednesday morning.
Inglis, who retired in April, had been away from the club for nearly three months after being admitted to a rehabilitation clinic for mental health issues.
The 32-year-old was not training with the squad but was helping put the team through their paces ahead of Saturday's clash with Cronulla at PointsBet Stadium.
Club officials are hopeful he'll return in the near future to help with the team's finals push.
The former Maroons and Kangaroos representative hung up the boots this season after making two appearances for the Rabbitohs in the early rounds.
The 2014 grand final winner had been hampered by a series of injuries over the past couple of seasons.
