The speed and flair of the Warriors was on show against the Roosters in round two of the NRLW season when they scored back-to-back tries and one of those has been picked as the try of the year.

The DrinkWise Try of the Year goes to Evania Pelite, who raced away to score a long range try straight from the kick-off after Kirra Dibb had crossed a minute earlier.

A great solo effort by Rooster Zahara Temara in which she totally bamboozled the Warriors defence grabbed second place in the fan voting

The contenders were:

  • A- Tiana Penitani v Roosters
  • B- Millie Boyle v Dragons
  • C- Zahara Temara v Warriors
  • D- Evania Pelite v Roosters
  • E- Tamika Upton v Roosters
  • F- Madison Bartlett v Dragons
