In a much-needed piece of good news for NSW fans, rugged lock Jake Trbojevic has won the Youi Tackle of Origin award for 2020.

Trbojevic turned in one of his trademark low, driving tackles in Origin II in Sydney. It was one of the high points of NSW's only win of the series.

The Manly and Test star received just over 30 per cent of the vote, with Queensland centre Dane Gagai finishing second and third with a pair of efforts over the opening two matches.

Maroons bench forward Jai Arrow and a joint try-saver from Phillip Sami and AJ Brimson in game one were the two other nominated efforts.

What was the best tackle of the 2020 Origin series?
