McDonalds Park in Wagga Wagga will welcome back the Canberra Raiders this week as they look to bounce back against the Melbourne Storm following last week's loss in Mudgee to the Sea Eagles.
Announcing during the week that they would be returning to the venue again in 2023, the Green Machine will be eager to impress in front of their home away from home, having taken matches to Wagga Wagga in 2019 and 2021.
On those occasions, the Raiders defeated the Panthers in front of a 10,000-plus crowd in 2019 before going down to the Knights in a thrilling clash in 2021.
McDonalds Park also hosted the City-Country fixture back in 2015.
With kickoff at the family-friendly time of 3:00pm on Saturday and clear skies forecast for the region, it's shaping as a game not-to-be-missed for those in region as the Raiders and Storm play out another chapter in their recent rivalry.
