Kelly Claims 2021 NRLW Player of the Year

The Sydney Roosters' Premiership celebrations were in full swing as Isabelle Kelly was named the 2021 KARI Foundation Player of the Year at the Club's Awards Night. 

Kelly was an imperative member of the Roosters in season 2021 after making her return to the Club from a stint at St George Illawarra to help steer the side to Premiership glory - which included . 

The strike centre joins teammates Zahara Temara (2018) and Hannah Southwell (2020) alongside Talisha Harden (2019) as recipients of the prestigious award.

The Jillaroos and Sky Blues centre appeared in every match of the 2021 campaign, scoring four tries which included her scintillating effort in the Grand Final to give the Roosters the lead midway through the second half.

Barnstorming forward Sarah Togatuki was nominated as Players' Player as voted by her peers to go along with the

Togatuki featured in all seven of the side's matches, which culminated in an almighty 50-minute stint in the Grand Final that saw her run 13 times for 161 metres and make 21 tackles. 

Kelly's four-pointer against the Newcastle Knights was voted by as the side's Try of the Year, while Jocelyn Kelleher took home the Club's Community Award, having already been named as the fan's choice to take home the Veronica White Community Award. 

In a heartwarming moment, members of the playing squad also presented staff with personal gifts as thanks for their contributions throughout their campaign in what was a fitting end to a memorable season 2021.
