Playing 147 games for Manly in his career, Kieran Foran knows a thing or two about what to expect at Brookvale Oval.
Taking on his former club for the first time since joining the Titans in front of what's anticipated to be a full house on Saturday afternoon, the experienced playmaker is excited to return to his old stomping ground with full intentions to make good on last week's disappointing loss to the Dolphins.
"It's a really great atmosphere when you can play down there in front of a packed crowd, so that's something that I'll be letting the boys know to enjoy," Foran said.
"It's a really, really good stadium to play at, it's a great pitch and they've done a really good job with it,
"It's a pretty vocal crowd down there and obviously they won't be home fans for us, but we'll be focused internally on us rectifying that performance from last week and putting together an 80 minute game."
Expecting a very similar battle up front to last weekend, the key match-up in the clash will be the battle of the forwards with the Sea Eagles pack leading the charge as one of their greatest assets to their top four success early in the season.
"There's no doubt Manly are a very physical side with a big pack and they use their size and their explosive power really well through the middle, so you've got to match them up front there," Foran said.
"They've got strike all across the park as well and they're dangerous footy side, and they've shown that in the early part of the season.
"It's a huge test for us defensively I think and if we can take the lessons out of last weekend's loss, hopefully we can rectify that."
But despite Manly's engine room being full of grunt, so is the Titans' pack who have been the side's key asset according to Foran, who has relished the opportunity to play off the back of their go forward.
"Our middle forwards have have been a real shining light so far this season for us and have been exceptional," he said.
"They've really taken the games head on and matched other teams physically and to be honest with you, I feel like they've really gotten it over a lot of the forward packs that we've played so far.
"They're setting the standard, they're doing a great job and they're going to need to again this weekend given it's going to be a huge challenge for them up against the Manly pack.
"But, I've got no doubt that they'll be up for it as they've been doing a tremendous job."
