After a convincing first-up win, the Roosters head to the nation’s capital to take on a Raiders side looking to earn their first competition points at NRLW level.

The Tricolours scored 14 unanswered points in the second period to record a comfortable 36-18 victory over Brisbane in Round 1, with the tries flowing thick and fast for their backline and pack alike.

Led by a 224-metre haul from new recruit Millie Boyle, the Roosters ran for 400 metres more than their opponents last week and found plenty of attacking success on the back of it.

The Raiders meanwhile were brave, but ultimately outclassed, in their competition debut by fellow newcomers Cronulla, who ran out 28-14 winners.

Darrin Borthwick’s side can take confidence from having completed at 81 percent, while managing to generate five line breaks, but will know they’ll need to find a new level this week against a representative-laden Roosters outfit.

Team News

Raiders: Coach Darrin Borthwick will field an unchanged line up from last week's defeat to Cronulla, with no late changes to his 17. Elise Smith is the replacement player.

Roosters: Centre Jessica Sergis was a late withdrawal from the squad an hour out from kick-off due to hamstring tightness, prompting Jayme Fressard to move from the wing to centre. Joeli Morris is promoted from the bench to start on the wing, while former Kiwi Fern Teuila Fotu-Moala comes onto the bench for her first game of the year. Amber Hall will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury suffered last week, which presents Otesa Pule with the opportunity to start.
