After lifting the Warriors from 15th place all the way to a preliminary final Andrew Webster has been named the Dally M Coach of the Year for 2023.

Having previously worked at the Warriors as an assistant to Andrew McFadden in 2015-16, Webster returned to Auckland to tackle his first head coaching role and had an immediate impact on the playing group.

Webster's messaging was clear and concise and he never appeared flustered throughout a remarkable campaign which captured the hearts of the Warriors faithful and the imagination of the entire pan66.community.

The other finalists for coach of the year were Kevin Walters from the Broncos and Nathan Cleary from the Panthers.
