With four rounds down, it's time to vote for your best performer so far for the 2024 season.
Whether it's a metre-eating forward getting through the tough stuff or a classy back dazzling with his footwork and speed, have your say on who has had the biggest impact after the first four rounds.
Izack Tago (Panthers)
With a new contract in his back pocket and now two-premierships to his name, young gun Izack Tago has taken centre stage in 2024. Tago had arguably his best performance to date against the Eels in Round 2 with nine tackle breaks, 245 run metres and an outrageous six line breaks and has continued his superb start to season in recent weeks. The 21-year-old is topping the competition in line breaks with eight and has 19 tackle breaks, three tries and three assists to his name.
Api Koroisau (Wests Tigers)
The Wests Tigers skipper has had an inspirational start to the season, leading from the front to help his side achieve back-to-back wins in March. His craft from dummy-half and consistent go forward helped win the wrestle in the middle against both the Sharks and Eels, while also lay the platform for new halves pairing Lachie Galvin and Aidan Sezer in attack. Making 123 tackles in his first three games, Api Koroisau has been influential to the new-look Tigers in the first month of 2024.
Sloan's highlight reel
Tyrell Sloan (Dragons)
Arguably the biggest improver so far for the year, 21-year-old Tyrell Sloan couldn't have asked for a better start to the 2024 season. Equal first try-scorer with Panthers winger Sunia Turuva after four rounds, Sloan has been crucial in the Dragons' 2-2 record to start the season. Providing a lot of the punch in attack for the Red V, Sloan has also racked up five line breaks and 19 tackle breaks throughout March.
Is there anything Isaah Yeo can't do?
Isaah Yeo (Panthers)
Mr Consistent as always but Isaah Yeo hasn't skipped a beat in the premiership-winning No. 13 jersey during the first month of 2024. Heading into Round 5 with 147 tackles and just four misses to his name, the ever-reliable skipper has set the tone for a remarkable defensive effort from Penrith which has seen the premiers concede just 54 points in four weeks. But what Yeo can really take a bow for in March is his pinpoint fifth tackle kick to set up Sunia Turuva in the corner in Round 2's win over the Eels.
James Tedesco (Roosters)
After his form came into question last year, the Roosters skipper exploded out of the gates in Round 1 at Las Vegas and has backed up every performance to remind fans he is still one of the best fullbacks in the game. James Tedesco is king of the stat sheet heading into Round 5 with an equal-first 24 tackle breaks, line break assists (6) and try assists (5). The 31-year-old's efforts haven't gone unnoticed either, with the incumbent NSW Origin fullback within one point of Dally M leader Nicho Hynes after Round 4.
James Tedesco's try assists so far this season
Pat Carrigan (Broncos)
Without star prop Payne Haas for Round 3 and 4 and several injuries to their forward pack, Pat Carrigan has had to show his versatility at lock, in the middle and on an edge, but hasn't let that affect his start to the season. With an impressive 190 average run metres and 295 post-contact metres after Round 4, the Maroons forward looks to have a big season ahead.
Dylan Edwards (Panthers)
The Panthers' energiser has had a blistering start to the season, getting through a tonne of work out the back of the field. Leading the competition in runs (100) and run metres (1,013) after four rounds, the ever-reliable fullback has stood up for his side in the absence of several stars including the likes of Nathan Cleary and James Fisher-Harris.
Round 4: Dearden delivers a tackle of the year contender
Tom Dearden (Cowboys)
With his composed leadership and damaging running game, Tom Dearden has been in fine form to start the season. Handed the co-captains badge in the off-season, the 23-year-old looks to have taken his game to new height in 2024 with a number of huge effort plays on both sides of the ball. With three tries, five line breaks and 36 line engagements, Dearden has had everything to do with the Cowboys impressive start to the season.
Addin Fonua-Blake (Warriors)
The Warriors prop has dominated in his first four games for the season, scoring two tries and averaging an incredible 168 run metres in March. Despite announcing his departure to the Sharks in 2025, Addin Fonua-Blake has shown he will throw everything into his last season and leave no stone unturned, already racking up line breaks and 11 tackle breaks for the year.
