Two sides coming off morale boosting wins in Round 12, the Titans and Rabbitohs will look to pick up where they left off when they meet in the Gold Coast.
Having defied several injuries to key players, the Gold Coast showed great resilience to win two of their past three matches and will be hoping to go up another gear when they welcome back a number stars after the bye.
Having missed selection in the Maroons' series opener on Wednesday, star backrower David Fifita will be looking to make a statement while props Josiah Pahulu and Isaac Liu face a big challenge in the likely absence of Moeaki Fotuaika (Origin) and Jaimin Jolliffe (pectoral).
South Sydney, meanwhile, will be buoyed by their 42-26 win over the Eels in Round 12 and will be desperate to climb out of the NRL cellar having won just two matches this season.
Hit hard with injuries this season, interim coach Ben Hornby will be hoping to make the most of the disrupted Origin period as their opponents are also forced into changes.
