Women's State of Origin Late Mail: Game Two

Both sides are shaping up to be as per program for Game Two of the 2024 Ampol Women's State of Origin series.

The Sky Blues travelled to Newcastle on Sunday while the Maroons made the trek the following day, with both teams having their final training run on McDonald Jones Stadium on Wednesday.

New South Wales v Queensland, Thursday at McDonald Jones Stadium

New South Wales: An unchanged team for Game II after springing an upset in Game I. Corban Baxter and Rachael Pearson remain in the halves while Jaime Chapman starts on the wing after he heroics in the opening game of the series. Jakiya Whitfeld will be part of the game day squad as the 18th player.

Queensland: No late changes expected from the team named earlier on, with Ali Brigginshaw to start at halfback in place of Zahara Temara. Sienna Lofipo shifts to lock as Emmanita Paki joins the bench, while Lauren Brown moves to the centres and Evania Pelite to the wing to cover for the injured Emily Bass (shoulder).
