With a win over the Broncos already to their credit this season the unpredictable Titans will fancy their chances of knocking off 'big brother' again at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday.

Sitting in 16th place at the time the Titans stunned the fifth-placed Broncos 36-34 at Suncorp Stadium with Keano Kini and Brian Kelly combining for 481 run metres and David Fifita racking up 230 metres.

Few could have predicted that the Broncos would win just one of their next six games following that defeat and slump to 13th on the ladder.

SportsBet Betting Preview - Titans v Broncos

In contrast the Titans have won four of seven since downing the Broncos and kept their slim finals hopes alive with a superb comeback from 14 points down to beat the Dolphins on Sunday.

With Jaimin Jolliffe (pectoral) on the way back and AJ Brimson likely to return next week the Titans are sure to prove a dangerous opponent for more fancied rivals in the run to the finals.

Team News

Titans: Jaimin Jolliffe has recovered from the pectoral injury that has sidelined him since Round 11 and will start in a late change by coach Des Hasler. The switch will see Erin Clark move back to the bench, after Keenan Palasia dropped out of the extended squad on Friday. AJ Brimson (groin) is still another week away. Tanah Boyd is the 18th man.

Broncos: Coach Kevin Walters confirmed on Friday that Brendan Piakura will line up as planned in his return from a quad injury. Kobe Hetherington shifts to the bench as a result. Veteran Corey Oates has come in on the wing for Selwyn Cobbo. No changes for the Broncos prior to kick off, with Josiah Karapani remaining in the squad as 18th man.
