Manly's barnstorming second half in Canberra lifted them from seventh to sixth on the ladder and gave their for-and-against a hefty boost in the process.

Given that the Sea Eagles are on 29 with the odd point from a draw against the Warriors in Round 6, that for-and-against is unlikely to be a factor but banging on five tries in 18 minutes provided a huge confidence boost.

The Warriors also kept the scoreboard ticking over with four tries in 17 minutes on Sunday at Suncorp but they came up empty in a golden point heartbreaker against the Dolphins and now sit 14th on the ladder.

A horror run with injuries continued for the Warriors with Shaun Johnson a late withdrawal due to a quadricep injury but the veteran playmaker is expected to be available this weekend.

With only three games remaining before a Round 27 bye the Warriors will be out to finish on a high note and give Johnson a fitting send-off as he retires after a glittering 14-year career.
