Cowboys v Titans: Henry shakes up bench; Two set to debut

This week's Queensland derby has plenty riding on the result with the previously high-flying Titans crashing back down to earth last week, while the Cowboys struggled to find the attack.

After posting strong opening round wins, the Gold Coast were stunned by the Broncos last week, crashing to their heaviest defeat in club history in their 44-4 loss.

The result was made worse with Niall Williams-Guthrie unable to finish the match with a hamstring injury, with the centre set for a stint on the sidelines.

The Cowboys also could not back up their winning efforts from Round 2, with the Eels proving too strong in their 20-6 win. After being held scoreless in Round 1, the home side found it hard to convert their chances with the ball, but concerningly, they also missed 50 tackles in the match.

However, there is plenty of talent in the side, with players like prop Essay Banu and Tiana Raftstrand-Smith putting in powerful efforts and the Cowboys will be hoping their can find their groove.

Cowboys: No game day changes. Tallisha Harden will come from the bench and Lily Peacock starts the game while Harata Butler is also part of the interchange in jersey No.18 in her second match of the season. Alisha Foord is out with a broken thumb, with former Titan Jetaya Faifua to make her first appearance this year. Shellie Long is the 18th player.

Titans: A late switch with debutant Lailani Montgomery moving to five-eighth, with utility Taliah Fuimaono shifting to the centres, filling the hole left by Niall Williams-Guthrie (hamstring). Prop Matekino Gray makes her debut from the bench. Rilee Jorgensen returns in the second row, with Ngatokotoru Arakua out. Sarina Masaga is the 18th player.
