After a string of 'so close, but still so far' results this season, the Raiders finally recorded their second win after they stormed home against the Dragons last week.

NRLW SportsBet Betting Preview - Raiders v Eels

Like they have done for much of the season, Canberra started well, but were then quickly run down, but this time, they were able to turn the tide and score consistently in the second half to outpace their opposition, scoring seven tries to six, with Zahara Temara converting five attempts in their 38-34 win.

The Eels however posted arguably the best win of their history, defying the Titans with some committed defence, despite having the weight of possession heavily against them.

Parramatta also started well, with forward leader Elsie Albert showing her intent with a charge over the line in just the third minute, but they were made to work hard throughout the rest of the game by a desperate Titans.

Rory Owen, who is new to the game this year, produced a game-changing run to the tryline to shift momentum permanently to her side's advantage, with the win also keeping their finals hopes alive to sit in fifth spot on the ladder with two more games to play.

Team News

Hollie-Mae Dodd also returns from suspension into the second row. Mackenzie Wiki returns at centre. There were no late changes.

Eels: Will run out as named mid-week and as they took the field in Round 7, with coach Steve Georgallis rewarding his troops for a last-up win over the Titans. Mia Middleton is the replacement player.
