Storm: With Nelson Asofa-Solomona suspended, Fijian giant Tui Kamikamica gets the call-up into the starting side and Lazarus Vaalepu has been added to the bench. Kamikamica has started in 14 of his 21 appearances this season, the most recent being in Round 23 against Souths. The 30-year-old has played 113 games for the Storm and this will be his first grand final, while 25-year-old Vaalepu is just seven games into his NRL career having debuted in Round 20 against the Roosters. Utility Sua Fa'alogo and forwards Tepai Moeroa and Joe Chan are among the reserves after featuring for North Sydney in last weekend's NSW Cup grand final while Grant Anderson is 18th man.

Panthers: Back-rower Scott Sorensen is again listed among the reserves as he races the clock to return from the hamstring injury that has ruled him out of both of the Panthers' finals matches. Should Sorensen be a late call-up he may replace Matt Eisenhuth on the bench, with Brad Schneider likely to retain his place as cover for Nathan Cleary should he encounter any issues with his shoulder during the match. Trent Toelau, Daine Laurie and Luke Sommerton are also in the extended squad with Casey McLean the 18th man.
