History of NRL Research
Since 2007 the National Rugby League and Australian Rugby League Commission has commissioned specific research advocating for evidence-based decision making, best practice, and industry collaboration. Research has focused on various topics, including sports science, medicine, welfare, administration, coaching, culture, diversity, and more.
Current Research Direction
The NRL has now decided to adopt a bespoke research approach aligned with specific research goals as determined from time to time by the NRL and ARL Commission.
