Valemei appeared in 29 NRL games for the Canberra Raiders over the course of four seasons since making his debut in 2020.
The 24-year-old was born in Labasa, Fiji and has also registered five Tests for his home nation, scoring his first International try against the Kangaroos at the 2022 World Cup.
A hard-running outside back, Valemei has split time between wing and centre during his career.
Valemei joined the Cowboys midway through the 2023 season, scoring a hat-trick in his club debut in Round 14 against the Storm. The Fijian international would finish the season with nine tries in nine appearances.
Valemei is contracted until the end of the 2024 season.
